November 2005

The "Gathering Souls" ep has been well received, some comments can be seen on the Reviews page.  The band are very pleased with the end result, and hope that it signals a slight progression of direction.

Coming to the close of 2005, the 5th year of DeadHeaven, the band would like to thank all the people who they've met along the way, and the fantastic bands that they have played with.  Some new allies have been made, and we are proud and overwhelmed to have the loyal people who keep their faith in DH, and those that are helping to spread the name of DeadHeaven.  Bless ya!!

2006 will hopefully bring more gigs, side-projects, and a few surprises.  It's a bit early to think about the next recordings, but new songs are underway (with '9 Days' being debuted at the recent Herne Hill gig).

Once again, thanx to everyone that stuck by us this year, and we hope that you stay around for 2006.  Have a great Xmas, and a very happy New Year! Blessed be...

News Archive 2004

September 2005

August saw the release of the third Dead Heaven EP "Gathering Souls", to coincide with the bands 3rd gig at the Marquee in Hertford. The final track listing is: Everything of You, Dorian Gray, For Love Nor Money, & Everything of You (cyber-dub).  Look at the DHPRODUCT page for details.

June saw the band doing gigs three weeks on the trot, and we'd like to say hello and respect to HISTORY OF GUNS, ALL LIVING FEAR, and CHANGESBOWIE. Thanx for some great evenings and shows chaps!!

Big thanx also to the following people: Steve Loos-Bennett, Bob Nu-EPB, Kev Saunders at the Marquee, Bryan Damage, Mark & the Herts Clan, Steve Kelly, Marcus 666omen, and Sav (for the fantastic artwork on the new EP).

March 2005

Well, things have been pretty quiet so far this year for Dead Heaven, mainly due to an injury sustained by Baz on New Years Day.  But things are getting back on track and some gigs are in the pipeline.  The 1st one that can be confirmed is at Riga (Westcliffe) on 10.06.05 supporting the lovely ChangesBowie.  We should be able to confirm a few more in the coming weeks, fingers x'd.

The band got out & about in January and February, and saw Another Story a few times, Sputnik2,  & also attended a Tsunami Benefit gig at Rayliegh headlined by ChangesBowie (which raised a total of £2483.70).  January also saw the band re-vamping their sound slightly, tho this will be revealed as the gigs happen.

Some new technology has also been added to the DH Equipment list, so hopefully we should be adding some further new edges to the DH sound in 2005.

Just a few hello's this month, to: Bry Damage (still keeping the faith), Another Story, OrangeWhip, Abigails Mercy, and PAH Harlow.

May 2005

Like usual, the gigs seem to all come in at once! Dead Heaven recently appeared at the Marquee Club in Hertford, and are discussing a return gig there in the near future.  June sees the band playing at Riga in Southend, and the Twist in Colchester.  Keep checking the LIVEDATES page for details.

The site now includes a 'Flyers' page which can be found by following the link on the LIVE DATES page, and also a 'News Archive' page (link is above).

We recently went to see The Tears in Cambridge, and also attended Insanitorium in Colchester.

Some new songs are going to be previewed at the forthcoming gigs, including "Everything of You" "Know Your Enemy" & "Absolute".

Special thanx & hello's to everyone that came along to the Hertford gig; to Mr Bryan Damage (as always); Wayne (Tomorrow the Cure); James (Begodden Mists); Orange Whip; and to everyone that's been saying good things about DH.... god bless ya!
